Description
Courtesy Of Balance continues to preach the gospel laid out by Balance, the legendary deep house label, with that deep diving, shimmering sound that Ron Trent and Chez Damier made their own. The heady fumes of “Morning Factory” can be felt lingering in The Black Tone’s dubby workout “Dialect”, while Pascal Viscardi takes things into spaced out minimal house territory on “Skylab”. Homepark strips things down even more before Bell Boys comes back with a deep take on the classic Chicago jack sound. Colin Johnson keeps things swinging and funky on “Frog Pond”, Paolo Rocco and Lessi S steps the garage shuffle up even more with “I Know I Know” and Ron Obvious pushes even further into tripped out 2-step territory for those that like their garage deep and meditative. Joe Rolet brings a dusty drum roll and spaced out textures to “Blue Marble”, and Nat Wendell finishes this expansive double pack off with the mellow thrum of “Depth”.
